That tea pic is gorgeous- I love your teapot and all the vibes it’s bringing! What’s been nourishing me very recently is honestly silence (lol) for the first time in many years I’ve been quite busy (which is relatively not that busy for a normal person but is for a sick person) and while I’m grateful and happy to be able to move and socialise again, I feel overwhelmed. In the past week I’ve been really enjoying just silence and a lot of time by myself to re connect. When you’ve spent 3 years sick and in bed, suddenly having a lot of noise and people around you is incredibly overstimulating. Just been doing all the things that help me feel balanced; journalling, meditating, reading and checking the plants every single day so I can watch their blooms in slow motion! I am planning a solo book date this week to an indie near me which is closing down soon. While that is deeply upsetting, it’ll still be nourishing! ❤️
Thank you for sharing, Martha! I love hearing about what's been nourishing you, and I'm so glad you've gotten some moments of silence to yourself. I love the idea of checking the plants to watch them bloom in slow motion, too. 💙
Love how much nourishment is found through human and plant connections. Yes yes yes to all of this. Side note: I somehow missed or forgot that Greathouse has a new collection coming out. DEED looks so good and I love everything I've read by Danez Smith
Yes yes yes to humans and plants. And I am SO EXCITED about the greathouse too, I can't believe how lucky we are. (Well, about both, of course.) Can't wait to discuss with you!
sending you love and care. thank you for sharing!
Thanks, Sharda! 💜
