"Look, this kind of restraint is hard for me..." Same same same, though, I might have to get extremely used to it, as I'm not sure I can write long posts anymore. (Will people still read my reviews if they are 1-2 sentences? BUT HOW can I write reviews that are ONLY 1-2 sentences?)
I'm proud of you for doing what you need, no matter the length of your posts. I hope that goes without saying, but I'm saying it anyway.
Thank you, Sarah! It's a process, and I feel you! And to answer your rhetorical question, of course I would read your 1-2 sentence reviews! As for how to write them...I'll get back to you.😂
Haha with pleasure! #2 is The Fifth Wound by Aurora Mattia, which is one of the weirdest books I've ever read. #4 is Bad Habit by Alana Portero, which is out next week and incredible! And #7 is She of the Mountains by Vivek Shrayra.
Thank you!! I even already have Bad Habit and She of the Mountains on my TBR but the way you wrote about them got me even more excited to acquire them.

I love that you are trying new fun approaches. I could write a whole essay on writing more concisely, but then it would be an essay and not a comment.
Haha, I know the feeling! Writing concisely is definitely not something I really aspire to. But this was a lot of fun to do.
I really want to know what #1 is! (And #2 and #7, but I found those in answers to another commenter). Thank you for this fun!
I'm glad you enjoyed! #1 is Bad Indians by Deborah A. Miranda which I can't recommend highly enough.
Thank you!
I feel like I need to add #s 2, 4, 7 to my TBR. At least! Please spoil the titles haha

I recently read She of the Mountains and was blown away by it. I didn’t guess the title from your blurb but I completely agree with what you said.
It's so good! I'm glad you loved it too.

Yay! Both so so good.
Is #9 Hijab Butch Blues? (Or maybe When They Call You a Terrorist?)
It's They Called Me a Lioness by Ahed Tamimi. (I appreciate your guesses though!)
