Okay I am firmly team apple for fall (pumpkin is terrible and this is a hill I will die on) but my favorite fall food is spaghetti squash!! It’s so underrated and truly so tasty!

I have to admit I am kinda terrified of spaghetti squash? I never grew it when I was a farmer and I don't think I have ever cooked with it, either. I will have to give it a try!

It's so delicious and easy! My favorite easy way is: slice in half, longways, and roast facedown in oven for like 45 minutes, then scrape the insides out and put it back into the boats, and top with some italian seasoning, mozzarella, tomatoes, and broil until it's crispy on top! Like a squash lasagna bake!

My absolute favorite is pumpkin and my husband prepares a wonderful pumpkin soup.

Lots of love from Argentina!

I really love a hot apple cider. If I can get it fresh, AH. Amazing!

I don't know if this counts, but my favorite fall fruit-RELATED thing is our apple CSA share. We have a regular veggie share, spring, summer, and fall/early winter, but for eight weeks, from August through October, we have a choice to add-on an apple share, and it's the highlight of the season for my entire family. We get several pounds of apples and whatever else is growing -- last week it was pears and wild plums -- plus a half-gallon of fresh, unpasteurized apple cider. I really don't even have words.

Also: Whereas by Layli Long Soldier is absolutely stunning 🤯
