I just read The Passing Playbook which must be the high school soccer version of the Prospects (I haven't read the Prospects but obviously have to) and wow, what a sweet time that was! Someone (I think Kacen Callender) described it as a warm hug and I couldn't agree more.
10/10 list. I have Miss Majors Speaks on my shelf and I’m very looking forward to reading what she has to say! Also dying to read Bellies - will order it now so it can be read during this important time!
WOW. This list is an incredible resource. I'm most drawn to Several People are Typing and Always the Almost. I have a friend who loves the Tea Dragon Society and I think it's one we'll add to our slowly growing middle grade collection.
They are all so good! The whole Tea Dragon series is just such a lovely lovely balm of friendship and care. They're such good books for rereading, too!
Thank you for putting the TRR on my radar! This year I read 2 1/2 books and donated to the Transgender Law Center’s Trans Health Legal Fund.
The two books I actually finished were by authors on your list: How You Get The Girl by Anita Kelly and She Becomes the Mountain by Vivek Shraya.
And I’m about halfway through Wrath Goddess Sing by Maya Deane - retelling of the legends of Achilles with Achilles as a trans woman.
Hurray, I'm so glad you got to partake in the readathon! I just got She of the Mountains out of the library and I'm looking forward to it.
Ha, I thought I had the name wrong but couldn’t be bothered to look it up.
She of the Mountains IS really good and it also counts for like 3 or 4 Queer Your Year prompts! I hope you enjoy it.

I loved that one too! It was so lovely and warm.

Miss Major Speaks is SO GOOD, can't wait for you to read it! And I also love Bellies so much, really looking forward to your thoughts no that one!
